The International Astronomical Union (IAU) has approved new names for two features on Mars.

Aonia Tholus for a 53.69-km-wide Martian tholus located at -59.04°, 279.96°.
The feature was named in honour of the classical albedo feature name.

Aonia Mons for a 27.07-km-wide Martian mountain located at -53.33°, 272.08°.
The feature was named in honour of the classical albedo feature name.
