NGC 2300 (also Arp 114, UGC 3798, MCG 14-4-31 and PGC 21231) is a magnitude +11.0 elliptical galaxy located 84.1 million light-years away in the constellation Cepheus.

Visually It gives the impression of looking like a globular cluster 

The galaxy is gravitational interacting with the neighbouring spiral galaxy NGC 2276 positioned 6' to the west-northwest.

The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Alphonse Borrelly with an 18 cm telescope at the Marseille Observatory in 1871.

Right ascension 07h 32m 20.3s, Declination + 85° 42' 33"
