Asteroid 57424  (2001 SP22) has been named Caelumnoctu in honour of the 50th anniversary of the  BBC Sky at Night  program.
Caelumnoctu comes from the Latin words caelum (sky or after an obscure southern constellation) and noctu (night). The asteroid couldn't be named skyatnight because it isnt a real word.
57424 Caelumnoctu  was discovered on 2001 Sept. 16 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
The number of this minor planet signifies the date, 1957 Apr. 24,  which was the first  transmission date of the The Sky at Night.
