According to transhumanist Michael Anissimov, theres an even chance that were looking at immortality or existential destruction in the next 20-40 years. Anissimov is only 23-years-old but hes already become an important figure in the transhumanist movement. While still in high school, he became founder and director of the Immortality Institute. Hes been active with the World Transhumanist Association (WTA), and he is currently Fundraising Director, North America for the Lifeboat Foundation.
