An artist has added to the repertoire of all-singing, all-dancing mobile phones by creating paintings with one. Art lecturer Allan Paris abandoned his brushes and canvas to produce images using a touch-sensitive screen on his handset.
'I discovered the technique when I got a new phone' - Allan Paris.
A graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Allan now lectures in art at Angus College, Arbroath. His work is always sourced from either direct observation, from memory or from imagination. He believes strongly in the importance of drawing and has always perceived it as integral to the process of composing imagery.
