A Molniya 1 communications satellites , International designation 1992 011A, (21897), that was launched on the 4th March 1992, from  LC43, at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, for the Molniya 1-83 mission  was predicted to re-enter the Earths atmosphere on the 2nd July 2007 @ 00:48 UTC ± 3 hours.

The 1600 kg satellite had been placed in a highly elliptical orbit with the following initial orbital parameters: period 11 hr 42 min, apogee 38,998 km in the Northern Hemisphere, perigee 629 km in the Southern Hemisphere, and inclination 62.9 deg.
