A magnitude 15.2 type Ia Supernova, 2007le, was discovered on the 13th September by Berto Monard in the magnitude 11.8 spiral galaxy NGC 7721 in the constellation Aquarius.
The supernova is located 4" west and 17" south of the nucleus of the galaxy.

Position(2000): R.A. = 23h38m48s.41, Dec. = -06°31'21".3
