Carn Llechart burial chamber is located on the top of Carn Llechart Mountain northwest of the village of Pontardawe in the upper Swansea valley (SN 698 063). This magnificent ring cairn consists of a central rectangular cist orientated 24 degrees west of magnetic north surrounded by a circular crown approximately 40 ft diameter with 17 flat slabs of rock tilted outwards.
