Tucson-based Ridgetop Group Inc. announced Friday it was awarded a National Aeronautics and Space Administration contract for developing products that test the integrity of power in systems that support future human-space missions. The two-year, Small Business Innovative Research phase II contract, worth $600,000, is to support NASA's new spacecraft. Prognostics, or predictive diagnostics, uses Ridgetop's sensor technology to determine aging in critical electronic components. Ridgetop, located at 6595 N. Oracle Road, was founded here in 2000.
