Antilles Sloth Fossil Exhibited in Havana The 20-million-year-old fossil was one of several that have been found since the 1970s in an area known as Domo Zaza, in the central Cuban province of Sancti Spíritus. They were discovered during the excavation of a canal. Discovered in the 1970s, the fossil of the most ancient sloth of the Caribbean is now being exhibited in Havanas Museum of Natural History
