Gordon J. Garradd (at Siding Spring Survey) has announced the discovery of a new comet on September 2, 2008.
The  new come increases Gordon Garradd tally of discoveries to 12 comets.
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on November 8, 2008,  at a distance of 1.7 AU from the Sun.
