The 3.7 km wide Amor NEO  8567 (1996 HW1)  will pass 0.135076 AU (53 Lunar Distances) from the Earth-moon system on the 12th September, 2008.
The asteroid will appear as a slow moving magnitude 12 star in the constellation Pisces.
The asteroid was discovered by Spacewatch at Kitt Peak on the 23rd April 1996.
