France will buy 10 Russian Soyuz carrier rockets, according to a contract signed by Russias Federal Space Agency and the French company Arianespace.
Arianespace Director General Jean-Yves Le Gall said on Saturday that the first launch would be made in 2009 from Kourou.
He project is estimated at 300-400 million euros.
