Starry Nights Festival

For 12 years, the Andromeda Society has been treating the public to the Starry Nights Festival. The Morongo Basins astronomy group loves to share its passion for the wonders of the heavens through mind-expanding lectures, eye-popping images, hands-on telescope viewing and rewarding raffles. This years festival was held Oct. 3 and 4 in the Yucca Valley Community Center and Hi-Desert Nature Museum, which lends a hand in planning the festivities.
