UNIVerse is a 3D Instant Messenger (IM) utilising Jabber Technology. Jabber allows interoperability with the major IM protocols; UNIVerse supports AIM/ICQ/Jabber services. UNIVerses 3D Interface hosts 3D characters that represent online buddies/contacts; the interface is essentially a buddy/contact list. The characters may play out emotions; the emotions are the 3D equivalent of emoticons.
