Bulgarian scientists discovered a new asteroid in the Taurus constellation, Petar Fratev of the Space Research Centre with the Sofia University announced. "If the asteroid crashes into Bulgaria it will wipe out a territory the size of the entire Sofia District," scientists explained.

Bulgarian astronomers found a new asteroid in the constellation Bull, bTV announced.
The space object has a diameter of 2 kilometres and circles the Sun for a period of 3.2 years.
The centre for small objects in the Solar system Harvard, USA admitted the existence of new asteroid temporarily marked as 2008 WN96.
