Evoctive posters will greet visitors arriving at Stonehaven railway station thanks to the town's Horizon group and a trio of local photographers.
The scenes - ranging from Dunnottar Castle to the harbour and Fireball festival - will be on display in the near future at the station, courtesy of train operator ScotRail's "Adopt a Station" initiative.

Thousands of revellers braved wintry weather and the threat of further snowfall to celebrate New Year at Stonehavens famed fireballs ceremony.
Visitors wrapped up against subzero temperatures but enjoyed a clear night as fireball swingers began their parade along the towns High Street.

Stonehaven's Hogmanay celebrations got 2009 off to a swinging start, when crowds of more than 10,000 turned out to witness the traditional Fireballs ceremony, and continue the party at the open air celebrations in the town square.

Revellers can also go for something different and immerse themselves in pagan tradition at Stonehaven's Fireball Festival. Thousands come to watch locals swinging blazing fireballs of up to three feet in diameter above their heads as they march through the town to traditional piping and drumming.
