The 160 - 350 metre wide asteroid 2004 GU9 will make a close pass (76.7 Lunar Distances, 0.1970 AU), travelling at 7.08 km/s, to the Earth-Moon system on the 28th April 2010.
Asteroid 2004 GU9 is an Earth Coorbital Asteroid. 2004 GU9 measures about 200 metres across, and according to calculations in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (S. Mikkola et al., 2006) it has been looping around the Earth for 500 years, but is expected to drift away within another 500 years.
