Possible Nova in Aquila

A possible magnitude 6.9 nova in the constellation Aquila was discovered on the 29th April, 2009.
If the nova is confirmed then it is likely a flare of V500 Aquilae.
The last outburst occurred on the 5th September, 1943.
V500 Aquilae then reached a maximum brightness of 6.1, and with a normal state magnitude of 17.8.

Position(2000): RA=19h52m27.8s, Dec=+08°28'45"
