Comet P/2009 H2 (McNaught) = P/2004 K2 (McNaught) The comet P/2004 K2 (McNaught), was first discovered by Rob McNaught on the 20th May, 2004. The periodical comet P/2004 K2 (McNaught) was discovered by H.T. Bressi (Spacewatch Survey) on the 28th April, 2009. The orbital elements of both comets indicate that they are the same. Comet P/2009 H2 (McNaught) is calculated to make perihelion passage on the 15th December, 2009, at a distance of 1.55 AU from the Sun, and have a 5.49 year orbital period. Ephemeris
