A Timaru Boys High School trio have blasted their way to first place in an astronomy competition, beating their peers from around the country and scoring a trip to Europe in July.
Ryan Ammar, Matthew Keelty and Adam Simpson took out the top prize in the Freemasons BIG Science Adventures DVD competition, fending off some 42 other entries from schools across the country.
