A space scientist killed in a hot-air balloon accident in Turkey will be buried in his native South Wales.
Swansea-born Kevin Beurle, 53, pictured above, was a senior programmer in astronomy at Queen Mary University, London, where he was involved for 20 years in the Cassini satellite project studying Saturn.

Tributes are being paid to a popular scientist from Brixton, south London who was killed in a hot-air balloon crash.
Colleagues of Dr Kevin Beurle, who worked at Queen Mary University of London, said he had played a "key role" in the Cassini mission to study Saturn and its moons by researching images sent from an orbiting spacecraft.

A top British space scientist was killed yesterday in a hot air balloon crash.
Nine other Britons were injured when the balloon suddenly plunged 150ft to earth moments after take-off.
