Confirmed:

A magnitude 15.8 supernova, 2009gg, was been discovered on the 15th June, 2009, by T. Tan, in the galaxy ESO235 - 35 (PGC 65919)  in the constellation Indus.
The supernova is located 1.4 West and 3.4 South from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position (2000): RA 21 01 29.91, Dec  -52 01 00.2
z = 0.022015

A possible magnitude 15.8 supernova was been discovered on the 15th June, 2009, by the Brazilian Supernovae Search team, in the galaxy ESO235 - 35 (PGC 65919)  in the constellation Indus. 
The supernova is located 1.4 West and 3.4 South from the center of the galaxy.

z = 0.022015
