A magnitude 14.7 supernova, 2009hm, was discovered on the 17th July, 2009, by S. Parker and B. Monard in the spiral galaxy NGC 7083 in the constellation Indus. The supernova is located 2" west and 13" south from the center of the galaxy. As yet the type is unknown.
