Totality began over Boston, Massachusetts at sunrise. Viewing the eclipse was raining out, but it was reported that the brightening of the sky after the eclipse was a startling and impressive sight. The Museo de la Ciencia y el Cosmos is looking for anyone who witnessed the solar eclipse that took place on October 2, 1959.
