A possible magnitude 21 supernova was discovered in the galaxy 2MASX J01500390+2525323 in the constellation Aries, on the 17th September, 2009.
The supernova is located in 18.8" east and 1.4" south from the center of the host galaxy.

Position (2000): RA 01 50 05.29,  Dec +25 25 30.5
