Comet P/2004 EW38 (Catalina-LINEAR)

Comet P/2004 EW38 (Catalina-LINEAR) was discovered on the 21st September, 2009, by J. Scotti (Spacewatch II).
A object having the appearance of an asteroid was  discovered  on the 14th and 16th March, 2004 by respectively the Catalina and LINEAR searches.
The comet had last been observed on the 19th May, 2004.

The orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 3rd September, 2010 at a distance of 1.79 AU from the Sun, and a 6.80 year orbital period.
