Confirmed:
The magnitude 15.9 supernova, 2010Y, was discovered by G. Cortini, in the elliptical galaxy NGC3392 in the constellation Ursa Major.
The supernova is located 15" East and 7" South from the center of the galaxy.
The supernova is a Type Ia.

Position (2000): RA 10 51 03.95, Dec +65 46 47

A possible magnitude 15.9 supernova was discovered on the 8th February, 2010, in the elliptical galaxy NGC3392 in the constellation Ursa Major.
The supernova is located 15" East and 7" South from the center of the galaxy.

Position (2000): RA 10 51 03.95, Dec +65 46 47
