A possible magnitude 16.9 supernova was discovered by the ROTSE-IIIc telescope ( H.E.S.S. Namibia) on the 7th March, 2010, in the galaxy ESO-LV 444-0600, in the constellation Centaurus. The supernova is located 4.5" east and 8.2" north from the centre of the galaxy.
