Comet P/2009 WX51 (CATALINA) was discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey on the 22nd November 2009.
The orbital elements of the comet indicate perihelion passage on the 31st January, 2010, at a distance of approximately 0.79 AU from the Sun, and an orbital period of 5.41 years.
