Comet C/2010 H3 (SOHO) was discovered by the SOHO satellite (SOHO-LASCO C2 and C3 coronagraph) on the 18th April, 2010. The comet belongs to the Marsden orbital group of comets, and could be the possible return of C 2004 V9 , C/1999 J6.

Comet C/2010 H3 (SOHO) was discovered by the SOHO satellite on the 18th April, 2010. The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 19th April, 2010 at a distance of approximately 0.05 AU from the Sun.
