Today we received an e-mail from Microsoft, requesting the immediate take-down of the download page, which of course means that AutoPatcher is probably history. In a global initiative aimed at nudging users to shift to genuine Windows software, Microsoft will kick off its Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) program from July 26.
Under this, users of pirated Windows XP and 2000 Operating System who want to download new updates and drivers will have to go for a Legalisation SKU priced Rs 4,000-4,500 for Windows XP Home, and less than Rs 6,500 for Windows XP Professional.

Note: With this release, the AutoPatcher installer will automatically clean the installation folder before the extraction. This means you will lose any modules you have created yourself or downloaded as stand-alone, so don't forget to save them before you start with the new release.
