The 3000 - 6800 metre wide asteroid 1998 TU3 will make a close pass (49.2 lunar distances, 0.1265 AU), travelling at 16.03 km/second, to the Earth-Moon system on the 25th August, 2012 @ 22:29 UT ±00:01. See more The Lunar Distance (LD), the distance between Earth and the Moon, equals 384,401 km, (or 0.00256 AU). The asteroid makes a close approach (Nominal Distance 0.0288 AU) to Mercury on the 26th June, 2012. __________________

The 3300 - 7400 metre wide asteroid 1998 TU3 will make a close pass (69.1 lunar distances, 0.1774 AU), travelling at 9.85 km/second, to the Earth-Moon system on the 17th October, 2010 @ 10:25 UT.
