Teens track near-earth asteroid at NM Tech

By day, 36 top high school science students from around the world are taking college-level science courses at New Mexico Tech, as part of the university's six-week summer school program.
But by night, the mild-mannered overachievers break into teams of three and slip into the Etscorn Observatory to track a near-earth asteroid.
