Comet P/2010 U1 (BOATTINI) was discovered on the 1st October, 2010, by Andrea Boattini (Mt. Lemmon Survey). The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicates a perihelion passage on the 15th May 2010, at a distance of approximately 4.88 AU from the Sun, and a orbital period of about 17.2 years.
