It has been a few weeks since we last had news of the search for the meteorite that landed in the local district in August, but the Bombala Times has now heard from another reader who actually saw the object fall.
When first we reported on the exciting occurrence, there was only one known witness who saw the meteorite on the afternoon of August 17.
Many had heard the landing, but none had seen it apart from the one witness who watched it pass across the sky in Craigie.
