Suspected Meteor Startles Western Md. Stargazers

Some western Maryland residents said an apparent meteor put on a sky show they won't soon forget.
Al Labrush, of Frederick, said the shooting star on Tuesday made the hair on the back of his neck stand up as it moved through the evening sky shortly before 7 p.m., throwing off sparks and fiery chunks.
