 U Local Member Captures 'Shooting Star' On Video

The KOCO newsroom was all abuzz Wednesday night with phone calls from across the western part of the state regarding activity in the night sky.
Some callers to Eyewitness News 5 said they saw a "large shooting star" or perhaps a "satellite reentering the atmosphere."

The News On 6 caught the light live as it streaked across the Tulsa sky.
It can be seen in the sky behind News On 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer as he delivered his weather forecast during Wednesday night's 9 p.m. newscast. The streak is visible for almost five seconds.

Bright Light Shoots Across Oklahoma Sky

News 9 received numerous reports of a bright light that shot across the Oklahoma sky Wednesday night.
Many of the reports were in western and central Oklahoma, but some people claimed to have seen the light as far east as Stillwater and Stroud.
