Storm 'Adrian' set to become season's first hurricane
A Storm churning off the Mexican coast is expected to strengthen rapidly on Wednesday into the east Pacific's first hurricane of the season, US meteorologists said. Tropical Storm Adrian was about 555km south of the Mexican resort town of Acapulco early on Wednesday, with maximum winds increasing to 95km per hour, according to the US-based National Hurricane Centre.
