One stone, said to weigh about 6500g fell at Basso, near Ankober. Analysis, 27.47 % total iron.

The Ankober (H4 Chondrite) meteorite fell in Shewa, Ethiopia, on the 7th July, 1942.
A total mass of 6.5 kg was recovered. 

9° 32'N, 39° 43'E
