Nan Yang Pao (or Daohe) is slightly weathered; it contains a few brown-stained silicate grains. The meteorite has a recrystallised texture, but some relict Chondrule structures are still visible.

The Nan Yang Pao (L6 chondrite) meteorite fell in Gansu, China, on the 11th July, 1917.
A total mass of 52.9 kg was recovered.

35° 40'N, 103° 30'E
