Miyagi-ken, Honshu, Japan
Fall 1984, August 22, 13:35 hrs
Stone. Chondrite. Ordinary (L)
Approx. recovered weight: 600 g
One stone of 600g fell, I. Yamamoto (1935). Description, analysis, 23.46% total iron, A. Miyashiro et al.

Place of fall: Tomiya-cho, Kurokawa-gun, Miyagi-ken, Honshu, Japan.
38°22'N., 140°51'56"E.
Date of fall: August 22, 1984, 1335 hrs.
Class and type: Stone. Olivine-bronzite chondrite (H4-5). Olivine Fa184.
Number of individual specimens: 2
Total weight: 27.5 g
Circumstances of fall: After a noise, a small stone, 19.2 g, was seen to fall on the veranda of a house. A second stone, 8.3 g, was found on the zinc roof of a nearby storehouse.

The Tomiya (H4/5) meteorite fell in Tohoku, Japan, on the 22nd August, 1984.
A total mass of 27.5 g was recovered.

38° 22' 0"N, 140° 51' 56"E
