A magnitude 9.8 nova, Nova Scorpius 2011 No. 2, was independently discovered on the 6th September, 2011, by J. Seach (Australia) and Y. Nakamura (Japan) in the constellation Scorpius.

Position (J2000):     R.A. 16 36 43  |  Dec. -41° 32' 46''  (Seach)
Position (J2000):     R.A. 16 36 44.4  |  Dec. -41° 32' 32'' (Nakamura)

Possible magnitude 9.7 nova in the constellation Scorpius was discovered on the 6th September, 2011, by Y. Nakamura (Japan).
