Peter Barlow (13 October 1776 - 1 March 1862) was an English mathematician and physicist.
Barlow made an important contribution to astronomy by inventing, in collaboration with optician George Dollond, the Barlow lens, an achromatic telescope lens in which two glass layers enclosed a colourless liquid (later replaced by a different kind of glass).
