Fell 1819, Oct. 13, 8 a.m.
Synonyms : Gera ; Kostritz ; Politz.
Stone. Veined white chondrite.
Some days after detonations had been heard, a stone of about 3 kg. was found between Politz and Langenberg (W. E. Braun, Ann. Phvs. (Gilbert), 1819, vol. 63, p. 216).

The Pohlitz (L5) meteorite fell in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, on the 13th October, 1819.
A total mass of 3 kg was recovered.

50° 56'N, 12° 8'E
