OGLE-TR132b was discovered in the third phase of the OGLE photometric surveys that took place from June - July 2001 and February - May 2002. The discovery observations were made by the 1.3-m Warsaw telescope at the Las Campanas Observatory, Chile (operated by the Carnegie Institution of Washington).
