Comet P/2011 U3 (PANSTARRS) was discovered on the 24th October, 2011, by the Pan-STARRS 1 telescope.
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 2nd June, 2012, at a distance of 1.0 AU from the Sun.
