Two fragments, 19g and 9g, were recovered from a fall observed in the region of Galim, 120km W of Ngaoundere, Adamoua region, and were sent to Paris. E. Jeremine (1953). The fireball was seen over Adamawa province, Nigeria, R. Walls, letter of 24 August, 1953

The Galim (a) (LL6) meteorite fell in Adamoua, Cameroon, on the 13th November, 1952.
A total mass of 36.1 g was recovered.
