The Lakangaon meteorite, which fell about 6 P.M. on the evening of November the 24th, 1910. at a village named Lakangaon, and which is probably identical with Lapangaon (lat. 21° 46', long. 75° 15' 30") near Nagelwari (the headquarters of the Pargana of that name in Native Nimar, part of the Indore State) is especially interesting because it was accompanied by a brilliant flash of light, which was seen at a distance of about sixty miles.
