Post Info TOPIC: Taurids

Earth is currently moving through a swarm of pebble-sized meteoroids; when one hits our atmosphere at 65,000 mph. it will produce a spectacular fireball. These fireballs are part of the annual Taurid meteor shower.
Every year, in late October and early November, meteors seem to shoot out of the constellation Taurus. The Taurid shower peaks between Nov. 5th and Nov. 12th

Look to the East.

The shower produces no more than five rather dim meteors every hour. But occasionally, the Taurids put on quite a show.
